VIOSO Player is made for maximum flexibility. Therefore, the system requirements are very moderate.

If you are operating the show manually, we strongly recommend to use a dedicated display for operating the user interface and a secondary display for the graphic card dedicated to driving the outputs.

Supporting this and other professional setups are some of the great features of VIOSO Player.

For fixed installations where the player starts automatically, there is no immediate need for an operating display.

Recommended system specifications for VIOSO Player:

• 64 Bit PC.
• Windows XP – 10.
• Quadcore CPU (depending on video requirements).
• 8 GB RAM or more.
• Multimedia capable GPU (e.g. NVIDIA, AMD).

You must take into consideration what kind of content you are going to play.

VIOSO Player supports a vast amount of video codecs, but in general the bottleneck is the decoding performance of your PC. Therefore we strongly recommend to test your content on designated PC hardware using the demo of VIOSO Player.

VIOSO player will call on VIOSO Core as a calibrator. Since VIOSO Player and VIOSO Core have similar requirements, refer to the VIOSO Core section for more information.
