The Project Mode starts with the Designer, our new tool for visual design and preparation of the calibration.

If VIOSO 6 did not start in Project mode, you could switch by clicking the UI button:

The usage is linear so that you can enter one step after the other:

Overview of the steps:

2D

3D

  • Design (Project Designer)
The designer prepares the entire setup.
Starting with the devices that should play a role within the screen to be recorded to the devices’ settings and the export.
  • Calibrate:
Here is the calibration, with the central tools to determine a projection setup and enable automatic warping and blending.
  • 3D
When working in the 3D workflow, the camera and the projection screen can be aligned in space with a visual preview.
  • Edit
The calibration result can be adapted to the actual situation or optimized with regard to colours, masking, soft-edge and customer requirements.
  • Export
This button triggers the export, which is used to transfer the calibration data to a wide variety of programs.
  • Recalibrate
Launches an automatic recalibration of the existing setup and reapplies all the steps above.
