VIOSO Core™ is the automatic calibration software that allows you to set up a projection out of multiple displays and to use this result in various products (e.g. Wings VIOSO, VIOSO Anyblend, VIOSO Player). VIOSO Core™ is able to identify the position and overlap of the projectors and blend them to create a large single display.

VIOSO Core is part of all VIOSO applications like Anyblend or VIOSO Player. Whenever multi-projector alignment features are required, VIOSO Core comes up providing a solution.

Available calibration methods

There are several methods available to do a multi-projector setup:

• Flat screen / fast scanning:
  Camera-based method for flat screens and slightly-curved screens. This method offers solid results regarding the camera image quality and generates the best blending quality on flat screens.
• Curved screen / fast scanning:
  Camera-based method for any kind of curved screen, spherical screens, and domes. This method offers solid results regarding the camera image quality and generates the best blending quality on these types of screens.
• Any surface / detailed scanning:
  Camera-based method for any kind of uneven and complex surface. This method requires the camera to have a very clear view of the testing patterns. It requires a long time for scanning and is intended for experienced users.
• Manual setup without using a camera:
  Uses an advanced method for manually aligning projectors–getting a result that is similar to what you get from a camera-based setup.
• Calculate blending based on a previous calibration:
  Available if a previous calibration was done successfully or if a calibration is loaded. Allows you to do a quick re-calibration (camera-based) or to adjust a manual calibration.
